PROGRAMS & DEPARTMENTS.

Islamic & Contemporary studies

The ultimate  aim of  Darul Huda is to mould a group of scholars who can carry out the Islamic propagation all over the world.

It is an obvious factor that the Islam and Muslim Ummah today face different types of problems and challenges.   Here we don’t succeed to utilize adequate facilities and medias to arrange capable scholars to propagate the Islamic teachings, messages and doctrines to the contemporary generation, eventhough we have reached the zenith of scientific development.  But Islam is still in great crisis.

The only way to resolve this pathetic condition is unleashing a world  wide program for the propagation of the God's own religion among the mankind.  But our great scholars who are well-versed and famous in religious learning and in fatwa session are not able to illustrate the Islamic teachings according to the scientific and psychological aspects of the modern living.

Our eminent ancestors, the masters of profound knowledge acknowledged  the importance and scope of the scientific aspects of the survival of the universe and they convinced it as the part of religious study and propagation.  But, now we are moving away from their path.

Here Darul Huda attempts to setup and organize a group of Ulama, specialized both in Islamic and scientific studies in par with the modern changes.

To achieve these aims the following subjects are taught in a 12 year course.  Qur’an, Hadith, Ilmul Hdith, Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Aqeeda (Theology), Nahv (Arabic grammar), Swarf, Manthique (Logic), Balaga (Rhetoric), Thajveed, Thasawwuf (Mysticism), Islamic History, World History, Economics, Mathematics, General Science, Social Science, Comparative study of religions and four languages-Arabic, English, Urdu and Hindi.  The students also get training in oration and writing in these languages.  Particular training is included to accustom the students with the Islamic way of life.  The academic calendar has about 250 working days per year with 9 periods per day from 7.45 am to 4.10 pm.

Hifzul Qur’an Course

Holy Qur’an the Words of God is the constitution of Muslims.  It is an inexplicable wonder that nobody is able to write even a single verse resembling the Holy Qur'an.

So the memorization of Holy Qur’an is essential to every Muslim.  But unfortunately the Muslims are not so aware of the Holy Qur’an and its meanings.  They neglected it.  As a relief for this pathetic condition Darul Huda conducts Memorization of Holy Qur’an for selected brilliant people with a period of three years.  These students are also taught other Islamic subjects.  After the completion of the Qur’an memorization they will be selected for Islamic & Contemporary Course.
