Urdu Medium Course

Darul Huda Islamic Academy has preferred a scientific and systematic syllabus which enables the undergraduates to cover up both religious and material subjects and helps them develop their ability in the field of propagation.  

All the three conducted courses here are considered as the outstanding and excellent one among the other Islamic institutes of the state.

It is the main programme of  Darul Huda Islamic Academy intending to form a well-equipped Islamic scholars to propagate Islamic ideology through out the world. Duration of the course referred to is 12 years.  This period of 12 years is divided into 4 stages: 
Preparatory (2 years), Secondary (4 years), Degree (4 years) and Post Graduation (2 years).  Further one year is extended for teacher training and specialization.

The academic calendar has about 250 working days per year with 9 periods of 45 minutes per day from 7.45 am to 4.10 pm.  The following subjects are taught here.

Qur'an, Hadith, Ilmul Hadith, Fiqh, Aqeeda, Nahvu, Swarf, Mantiq, Rhetoric, Thajweed, Thasawuf, Islamic History, World History, Economics, Mathematics, Modern Science, Social Science, Comparative study of religions, Five languages (English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi & Malayalam) and Computer science (Theory and practical).  Aparting to these subjects other subjects and practices are provided along such as Typewriting, Tailoring and so. In order to accustom the students with Islamic way of life, practical training of Islamic studies also included.  

During this period the students have to do BA degree course under any recognized universities.  After that they will be given coaching classes for MA.

Darul Huda has accepted various and distinguished methods to be applied its syllabus efficiently and smoothly in favor of the students.  The students are taught the religious and Arabic subjects in Arabic medium while the material subjects are taught in English medium and Urdu languages in Urdu medium.  The teachers of each faculties and departments are enough skilled, qualified and trained scholars.  The teachers of Urdu department are appointed from northern parts of India whom mother tongue is Urdu and there was an Arabic teacher from Egypt appointed for Darul Huda by Al-Azhar university of Cairo which already recognized the syllabus of the Academy.  By the services of these teachers students can handle these languages as its origin style.

There is a large library functioning for the use of the students enriched with thousands of books, references, encyclopedias etc. It has different sections for each faculties and departments.

Another remarkable facility done by Darul Huda is the science laboratory intended for the development of the practical science and to prove the Qur’anic and scientific comparisons and so.

Hifzul Qur'an

This is a three year course to memorize the holy Qur'an wholly.  During this period students are taught the fundamental teachings of Islam and  prepare them to join the Islamic & Contemporary studies.

Urdu Medium Course

This course started in 1999 exclusively for those who talks Urdu language as their mother tongue.     The duration of the course is 8 years.  This is the same to the course of Islamic and Contemporary studies but in Urdu medium.  The students of this course are taught the Fiqh according to their Madhab.
